Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan, with the support from the Kazakhstan Chess Federation, recently organized a traditional chess tournament for employees of Baiterek Holding and its subsidiaries.
Aslan Kaligazin, Chairman of the Board of Export Credit Agency of Kazakhstan, highlighted the significance of the event, stating:
"Chess not only enhances intellectual abilities but also fosters stronger business connections and team spirit among employees. We are pleased to see the popularity of this intellectual sport within Baiterek Holding. The tournament provided an excellent platform for employees to showcase their strategic and analytical skills in a fair and competitive environment."
The tournament saw participation from 21 employees. International grandmaster Petr Kostenko served as the chief arbiter.
Erkanat Musabayev from Otbasy Bank emerged as the tournament winner, with Renat Medybayev from Agrarian Credit Corporation securing second place, and Bekzhan Zhakipbekov from Otbasy Bank taking third. The winners received memorable gifts for their achievements.
