'Baiterek' Holding Discusses Cooperation in Energy and Agriculture with Full Vision Capital

Rustam Karagoyshin, Chairman of the Board of 'Baiterek' National Investment Holding JSC, held a meeting with a delegation from Full Vision Capital, the family office of Hong Kong entrepreneur Dr. Peter Lee, owner of the Henderson Land and Towngas corporations. The delegation was led by Alan Chan, Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer of Towngas, and Managing Partner of Full Vision Capital.

The parties discussed potential areas of cooperation in energy, digital technologies, and innovation in the agricultural sector, including biofuel production and bioenergy development.

Of particular interest to the Kazakh side are the group's competencies in energy storage systems, solar power generation, and the production of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF); the parties also considered opportunities for processing oilseed crops and agricultural waste for biofuel production.

Baiterek Group's instruments make it possible to support such projects at every stage, from investment structuring to financing," said Rustam Karagoyshin.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working out specific areas of cooperation.
