«Baiterek Holding discussed prospects for cooperation in metallurgy and energy with Metlen Energy & Metals»

A meeting took place at Baiterek National Managing Holding JSC with a delegation from the Greek company Metlen Energy & Metals. The parties discussed Kazakhstan's investment potential, as well as promising areas of cooperation in the metallurgical industry and the implementation of joint projects.

The meeting was attended by representatives of Baiterek Holding, the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, and Metlen Energy & Metals.

Special attention was given to modern approaches to metallurgical waste processing and the development of circular economy technologies. Metlen representatives spoke about their new business line, M Circular Metals, which specializes in the safe processing and extraction of valuable metals from metallurgical residues using proprietary hydrometallurgical technologies. The company is considering the possibility of developing cooperation in this field in Kazakhstan.

During the talks, the parties also discussed Kazakhstan's investment opportunities, the potential of the domestic mining and metallurgical complex, and prospects for implementing projects aimed at improving raw material processing efficiency, introducing modern environmental solutions, and developing sustainable industrial production.

Following the meeting, participants expressed interest in further developing the dialogue and exploring possible areas of cooperation.
