‘Baiterek’ Holding discussed cooperation prospects with AKA Bank

On 7 March, Timur Onzhanov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Holding, met with representatives of AKA Ausfuhrkredit-Gesellschaft mbH (AKA Bank), a key German financial institution specialising in export lending, at ‘Baiterek’ National Managing Holding JSC.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for further cooperation in financing Kazakhstani export projects and attracting additional business support instruments. Special attention was given to joint financing and export insurance mechanisms aimed at expanding economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Germany.

Founded in 1927, AKA Bank actively supports German companies operating in international markets by providing loans, guarantees, and export risk insurance. ‘Baiterek’ Holding, in turn, plays a key role in the development of Kazakhstan’s economy, supporting small and medium-sized businesses, exporters, and industrial projects.

The negotiations marked a continuation of the Holding’s strategic engagement with German financial institutions to attract investments and develop joint projects. Following the meeting, both parties expressed their interest in further cooperation.
