Baiterek Holding and Raiffeisen Waren discuss building agricultural machinery assembly plant in Kazakhstan
Rustam Karagoishin, Chairman of the Board of Baiterek National Management Holding, met with Mario Soose, CEO of Raiffeisen Waren GmbH. The meeting aimed to explore strategic cooperation and joint investment opportunities in Kazakhstan's agro-industrial sector.
The discussion focused on supplying modern agricultural machinery for Kazakhstani farmers through KazAgroFinance, Baiterek Holding's subsidiary. Key topics included the establishment of service centers and a plant to assemble Fendt and Valtra equipment in Kazakhstan.
"Germany has long been a strategic partner for Kazakhstan. Baiterek Holding is committed to strengthening this relationship, particularly in the agro-industrial sector. Raiffeisen Waren has registered a company in Kazakhstan marking an important milestone in our collaboration," said Rustam Karagoishin.
He highlighted KazAgroFinance's successful track record in leasing equipment from Fendt and Valtra. Over the past 25 years, the company has facilitated the transfer of 34 units, valued at €3.9 million.
