Baiterek Holding and CLAAS discuss launching local manufacturing and deepening cooperation in Kazakhstan
On October 22, 2024, Rustam Karagoishin, Chairman of the Board of Baiterek National Management Holding, met with a delegation from CLAAS KGaA GmbH. The meeting focused on furthering the partnership established under agreements signed during the visit of German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz to Kazakhstan.
During the discussions, the two parties explored opportunities for launching the production and assembly of CLAAS agricultural machinery in Kazakhstan. This move is expected to improve access to advanced technologies and create new jobs. They also reviewed the terms of machinery supply and financing options through KazAgroFinance, a subsidiary of Baiterek Holding. CLAAS reaffirmed its commitment to a long-term partnership to boost productivity and modernize Kazakhstan’s agricultural sector.
