Baiterek Holding announces an open position for Chief Manager of IT Department at Baiterek Holding.
Position title: Chief Manager of IT Department.
Responsibilities: In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Holding’s internal IT regulatory documents, the incumbent is responsible for driving the Holding's strategic objectives by leveraging cutting-edge information technologies. This includes leading and/or participating in the implementation of the Digital Transformation Office project.
Qualification requirements: Higher or secondary specialized education.
Work experience:
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in relevant fields or functional areas related to the position.
Required knowledge:
- Familiarity with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including "On Joint Stock Companies," "On Combating Corruption," "On National Managing Holdings," and "On Informatization."
- Proficiency in the Kazakh and English languages.
- Understanding of project management methodologies.
- Competence in information and communication technologies, including experience in creating and implementing complex software products.
- Proficiency in agile project management.
- Basic competence in analyzing, evaluating, and structuring investment projects.
- Understanding of business process organization.
Skills:
- Proficiency in project management.

Functional responsibilities:
- Lead and/or participate in the implementation of the Digital Transformation Office project.
- Contribute to developing a cohesive strategy, methods, and approaches for digital transformation.
- Monitor task execution for digital transformation projects.
- Implement project management in core activities of the Holding and its subsidiaries.
- Organize or participate in managing digitalization strategy projects.
- Oversee or participate in monitoring digitalization project implementation.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and technical specifications with suppliers of goods and services.
- Monitor the progress of national projects and state programs related to digitalization in Kazakhstan.
- Engage with individuals and legal entities regarding information technology matters.
- Handle requests from individuals and legal entities regarding information technology issues.
- Develop internal regulatory documents related to information technology.
- Create, update, and approve documents related to information technology to guide Holding employees.
- Interact with government agencies on information technology matters.
- Review and prepare responses to incoming requests related to the IT department's activities, including reporting on instructions received.
