Project Lead of IT Department

     Baiterek Holding announces an open position for Project Lead of IT Department at Baiterek Holding.

     Position title: Project Lead of IT Department.

     Responsibilities: In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Holding’s internal IT regulatory documents, the incumbent is responsible for supporting the achievement of the Holding’s strategic goals through the use of modern information technologies. This includes coordinating the activities of the Digital Transformation Project Office.

     Qualification requirements: Higher or secondary specialized education.

     Work Experience:

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in relevant fields or functional areas related to the position.

     Required knowledge:

·         Familiarity with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including "On Joint Stock Companies," "On Combating Corruption," "On National Managing Holdings," and "On Informatization."

·         Proficiency in the Kazakh language.

·         Understanding of basic project management methodologies.

·         Competence in Information and Communication Technologies, including knowledge of and experience in the development and implementation of complex software products.

·         Skills in agile project management.

·         Understanding of the fundamentals of analyzing, evaluating, and structuring investment projects.

·         Knowledge of business process organization.

     Skills:

·         Project portfolio and project management abilities.

·         Proficiency in using project management tools.

·         Strategic planning capabilities.

·         Experience with Lean methodology.

·         Expertise in describing enterprise architecture.

·         Ability to develop regulatory documentation.

·         Experience participating in procurement procedures and budget formation.

·         Business correspondence and negotiation skills.

·         Proficiency in preparing presentations and conducting business communications.

     Functional responsibilities:

·         Coordinating the Digital Transformation Project Office.

·         Managing digital transformation projects in alignment with international project management standards.

·         Developing a unified strategy, methodologies, and approaches for digital transformation.

·         Monitoring the execution of tasks related to digital transformation projects.

·         Integrating project management practices into the core activities of the Holding and its subsidiaries.

·         Coordinating and managing the digitalization strategy.

·         Overseeing project planning, timelines, and quality.

·         Drafting technical requirements and specifications.

·         Coordinating and monitoring the implementation of digitalization projects for the Holding and its subsidiaries.

·         Ensuring proper fulfillment of contractual obligations and compliance with technical specifications for contracts with suppliers of goods and services.

·         Monitoring the implementation of national projects and government programs concerning the digitalization of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

·         Handling and responding to requests from individuals and legal entities on information technology issues.

·         Developing internal regulatory documents related to information technology.

·         Creating, updating, and coordinating documents related to information technology to regulate activities and provide methodological support to the Holding's employees.

·         Liaising with government agencies on information technology matters.

·         Reviewing and preparing responses to incoming requests related to the IT department's activities, including providing reports on received instructions.

Full-time employment, 5 days a week.

Contractual employment with medical insurance coverage.

Location: Astana, 55 A Mangilik El Ave., block B.
