Chief Manager of Project Department

Baiterek Holding announces an open position for Chief Manager of Project Department at Baiterek Holding.

Position title: Chief Manager of Project Department.

Responsibilities: Under the Investment Policy of Baiterek Holding, oversee the execution of investment policies and ensure compliance with policy requirements by subsidiaries. Facilitate interaction with project applicants, coordinate subsidiaries in structuring and evaluating investment projects, and liaise with governmental bodies and other relevant organizations regarding the Holding's investment activities.

Qualification requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Applied mathematics, Law, or Technical sciences.

Work Experience:

Minimum of 3 years' professional experience in relevant fields or functional areas related to the position.

At least 1 year in the specific economic sector corresponding to the organization's profile (preferably within the Holding) and/or government entities.

Required knowledge:

Legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan pertaining to matters within the Department's jurisdiction.

• Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on joint stock companies and Law on state property.

• Proficiency in English, Kazakh and Russian.

• Basics of Project Management.

• Financial analysis and modeling skills.

• Foundational knowledge of macroeconomic and industry analysis.

• Familiarity with legislation concerning investment, banking, and entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan (e.g., Laws on Project Financing and Securitization, Banks and Banking Activities).

• Awareness of current state development programs.

• Familiarity with support tools utilized by subsidiaries of Baiterek Holding.

• Competence in corporate finance.

• Comprehensive understanding of Baiterek Holding's activities and the financial market.

Skills:

• Advanced analytical skills.

• Proficiency in independently generating analytical reports on investment projects.

• Competence in constructing and analyzing financial models for projects (basic modeling).

• Prior experience in preparing analytical materials such as references, teasers, presentations, reports, and investment memorandums.

• Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office programs.
