Director of the Project Department

Baiterek Holding is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of Director of the Project Department within Baiterek National Managing Holding.

Position: Director of the Project Department

Job Responsibilities: You will be responsible for overseeing the department's operations, coordinating the structuring, analysis, and monitoring of investment projects of Baiterek Holding's subsidiaries. You will also engage with government authorities regarding investment projects under consideration by subsidiaries. Your primary objective is to effectively implement the investment policy of Baiterek Holding. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in implementing the Competitiveness Leaders – National Champions 2.0 Program and ensuring compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and internal regulations of Baiterek Holding. Your efforts will contribute to the growth, expansion, and enhanced efficiency of the company.

Qualification Requirements: Degree in economics, finance, management, or law.

Work Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in related fields or areas relevant to the position.

At least 2 years of experience in economic activities aligned with the organization's profile, with a preference for experience in Baiterek Holding's group of companies and/or government bodies.

A minimum of 3 years in a managerial role, enrollment in the Unified Personnel Reserve, or at least 2 years of professional experience in fields related to the position, including a minimum of 1 year within the group of companies of Baiterek Holding.

Candidate Knowledge Requirements:

Candidates should have knowledge of the following areas:

·       Legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan related to the department's responsibilities.

·       The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Joint Stock Companies".

·       The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On State Property".

·       Financial support tools used by Baiterek Holding subsidiaries.

·       Corporate finance.

·       Baiterek Holding's operations and the financial market.

·       Fundamentals of project management.

·       Financial analysis and financial modeling.

·       Analysis and evaluation of investment projects.

·       Macroeconomic and industry analysis.

·       Legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in investment, banking, entrepreneurship, and public-private partnership.

·       Current state development programs.

·       Fundamentals of project management.

·       Proficiency in English, Russian, and Kazakh languages.

Skills Required:

The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

·       Project management.

·       Preparation of analytical reports on investment projects.

·       Development of analytical materials, references, teasers, presentations, and reports.

·       Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office programs.
