Timur Onzhanov

Deputy Chairman of the Management Board

Timur Onzhanov was born in 1984 and is a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He was appointed as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board in June 2024 and was elected as a member of the Management Board by the resolution of the Board of Directors NMH Baiterek JSC on June 18, 2024. He supervises issues related to project work and asset management.

Education:

Master's degree in Banking and Finance with a focus on corporate finance, markets, and foreign trade (2012)

• University of Bern (Switzerland)

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Economics (2008)

Career highlights:

• From July 2013 to July 2016, Timur Onzhanov served as a sales manager in the Structured Trade and Export Finance Department at Deutsche Bank AG in Frankfurt, Germany.
  
  
• From September 2016 to June 2024, he held various positions at the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC), including Deputy Director of the Department for Development of the Asset Management and Large Private Capital Services Market, Director of the Department for Development of the Asset Management and Large Private Capital Services Market, Managing Director for Business Development, First Deputy General Director for Development of International Business and Cooperation, and Executive Director and Chief Representative for the Financial Sector of the AIFC Administration.
