Date of the first election to the Board of Directors of the Holding as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holding: February 4, 2022 (Order of the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 4, 2022 #50).
Work and membership in the Boards of Directors/Supervisory Boards of other organizations: Chairman of the Board of Directors of Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC (since April 17, 2019), member of the Board of Directors of Baiterek National Managing Holding Joint-Stock Company (March 2019 – June 25, 2020).
Education: Graduated from the Al-Farabi Kazakh State National University (Almaty, Kazakhstan) with a degree in applied mathematics, from the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Strategic Research under the President of Kazakhstan (Almaty, Kazakhstan) and was awarded Master's degree in public administration.
Work experience: Started working as an employee of the Investment and Privatization Fund A-Invest.
In the period from 1995 to 1999, he worked as the chief specialist of the trade and industry department of Almaty administration, deputy head of department, head of department of the National Statistical Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Statistics and Analysis of the Agency for Statistical Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan; chief expert, head of the economic sector of the department, state inspector of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
From 1993-1999 — the Chairman of the Agency of Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
From 2003 - 2006 — the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chairman of the State Insurance Company for the Insurance of Export Credits and Investments JSC;
From 2006 - 2009 – the Vice Minister of Finance, President of KazAgro National Holding;
From 2009 - 2014 – the Chairman of the Agency of Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
From 2014 - 2015 – the Chairman of the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan;
From 2015 - 2018 – the assistant to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
From September 2018 to February 2019 – Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On 25 February 2019 with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was appointed as the First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On 18 January 2021 with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was appointed as the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From January 11, 2022 – the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He does not own shares of the Holding, as well as shares and participation interests of legal entities that are suppliers and competitors of the Holding.
