The eGov Mobile application has launched a new service that allows Kazakhstanis to verify the legality of ongoing shared construction projects.
This service was developed by the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cooperation with Kazakhstan Housing Company JSC (a subsidiary of ‘Baiterek’ National Managing Holding JSC), the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and National Information Technologies JSC.
“The new service enables citizens to proactively assess risky property investments and minimize the threat posed by unscrupulous shared construction developers. The service is now available to all citizens via the eGov Mobile application. This is yet another step towards greater transparency and safety in Kazakhstan’s real estate market!” said Zhannat Dubirova, Vice Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The service redirects users to the Housing Portal information system, which provides detailed information on all legally approved shared construction projects that either have a guarantee from Kazakhstan Housing Company JSC or official permission from the akimat to attract shareholder funds.
To obtain information about a property, users need to follow three simple steps: log in to the eGov Mobile application, navigate to the Home section, and click on the Other Services button. Then, from the list of services, find Housing Portal and click on it to access the page. Finally, to search for a property in the Housing Portal, users must enter the BIN, the developer’s name, or the residential complex name.
