- Who We Are
Baiterek Holding has elected a new Board of Directors by the decision of the Sole Shareholder (by the order of the Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan #50 dated February 4, 2022).
The Board of Directors manages the Holding's activities except for those activities pertaining to the exclusive competence of the Sole Shareholder (the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan) and the executive body (the Holding’s Management Board). Those activities are listed in the “On Joint Stock Companies” Law and the Holding’s Charter.
The activities of the Holding’s Board of Directors are regulated by the Regulations on the Board of Directors. The Board consists of ten directors, three of whom are independent. Members of the Holding’s Board of Directors are appointed by the Sole Shareholder.
The members of the Board of Directors are obliged to abide by the principles of efficiency and responsibility, put the interests of the Sole Shareholder and the Holding on primacy, protect the Sole Shareholder’s rights, and be responsible for the Holding’s activities.
