UN Women

UN Women is an auxiliary body of the UN General Assembly created to accelerate progress in meeting the needs of women worldwide, improve the effectiveness of available resources, and consolidate mandates of various UN units dealing with gender equality and women’s empowerment. The UN Women office in Kazakhstan invited Baiterek National Managing Holding to join the UN initiative “Women’s Empowerment Principles” (WEP). In 2022, the Holding signed a statement of adherence to this initiative. The WEPs represent a global set of principles promoting gender equality.
