Chief Manager of the Projects Department

Baiterek Holding announces an open position for Chief Manager of the Projects Department at Baiterek Holding.

Position title: Chief Manager of the Projects Department.

Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with Baiterek Holding's Investment Policy by overseeing its implementation and monitoring adherence to the policy across subsidiaries. Collaborate with project applicants and coordinate activities between subsidiaries in the structuring and evaluation of investment projects. Serve as a liaison with government agencies and other relevant organizations regarding the Holding’s investment activities.

Qualification requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Finance/Law/Technical Sciences.

A project management certification is preferred.

Work experience:

At least 3 years of professional experience in relevant fields or functional areas related to the position.

At least 1 year of experience in the specific economic sector corresponding to the organization's profile (preferably within Baiterek Holding or other government entities).

Required knowledge:

• Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues related to the Department’s competence

• Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including "On Joint Stock Companies" and "On State Property"

• Proficiency in the Kazakh, Russian, and English languages

• Principles of project management

• Financial analysis and modeling

• Investment project analysis and evaluation

• Fundamentals of macroeconomic and industry analysis

• Laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan related to investments, banking, and entrepreneurship (including the Laws "On Project Financing and Securitization" and "On Banks and Banking")

• Current national development programs

• Financing programs offered by subsidiaries of Baiterek Holding

• Corporate finance expertise

• In-depth understanding of Baiterek Holding's activities and the financial market

Skills:

• Strong analytical skills

• Skills in preparing analytical reports on investment projects

• Ability to develop and analyze basic financial models for projects

• Experience in creating analytical materials, including reports, teasers, presentations, and investment memoranda

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Working Conditions:
