Chief Manager of IT Department

     Baiterek Holding announces an open position for Chief Manager of IT Department at Baiterek Holding.

     Position title: Chief Manager of IT Department.

     Responsibilities: In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Holding’s internal regulatory documents in the field of Information Technology, to be responsible for the achievement of the Holding’s strategic goals through the use of modern information technologies, including data management projects.

     Qualification requirements: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electronics, or Computer Science.

     Work Experience:

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in relevant fields or functional areas related to the position.

     Required knowledge:

·         Familiarity with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including "On Joint Stock Companies," "On Combating Corruption," "On National Managing Holdings," and "On Informatization."

·         Proficiency in the Kazakh language.

·         Understanding the basics of implementing data warehouse and analytical system projects.

·         Knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and visualization procedures.

·         Understanding the principles of database operation.

     Skills:

·         Project management abilities.

·         Proficiency in using ETL tools and data visualization.

·         Expertise in writing SQL queries.

·         Ability to develop regulatory documentation.

·         Business correspondence and negotiation skills.

·         Proficiency in preparing presentations and conducting business communications.

     Functional responsibilities:

·         Lead or participate in defining the architectures for the Holding and its subsidiaries, focusing on the "Data" and "Infrastructure" layers.

·         Formulate a cohesive strategy, approaches, requirements, and methodologies for effective data management.

·         Spearhead the development of data management infrastructure.

·         Implement processes for managing data quality.

·         Collect, process, and visualize data.

·         Contribute to the development of components within the Analytical Center.

·         Design data models, dashboards, and information panels.

·         Define requirements for analytical cases and data visualization techniques.

·         Handle and address inquiries from individuals and entities regarding information technology matters.

·         Draft internal regulatory documents pertaining to information technology policies and procedures.

·         Create, update, and coordinate documents to guide the activities and methodologies of Holding employees in IT-related matters.

·         Engage with government agencies on IT-related issues.

·         Review and respond to incoming requests related to IT activities, including preparing reports on executed instructions from the Data and IT department.
